We both have experience domestic violence as children. It's not an easy subject to discuss. During those hard times, we found solace in our neighborhood gyms. We knew if we could strengthen ourselves, we would know how to physically protect ourselves from the violence in the future. We were on separate paths but one day.....our paths crossed.
